"UNDERGROUND NEEDS YOUR MONEY BABY" (CD and DVD).
Scratch Massive bring their new, innovative project into the forefront by embracing the frontiers between music and image in this 53 mn must see using musical mastering and visual force.
As watch it, you feel it vibrating through your whole body.
The vision for this DVD was inspired by a special creation last spring for LE GEODE, the huge panoramic screen theater in Paris where beautiful live music by Scratch Massive and Plaid (Warp Records UK) mixed with experimental visuals created by their video directors made for a simply amazing collaboration.
This inspired and hugely successful live show gave Scratch Massive the motivation to push even further to release this mature and magnificent concept on a dvd where the watcher / listener can dive in the heart of this intense and large live experience.

CD/DVD Box Set will be in store on the April,14th,2008.

Scratch Massive is working to a new project.
It will a DVD who will contains the music and video recording of their live performance.
In the menu will be the live concert plus the video performance of the Icone's designer from Paris.
We will find a documentary on the backstage of their nightlife.

New Single - Shining in my vein

“Shining in my vein” is the first single of Scratch Massive's second album : TIME.
Dark and tortured, mid tempo, this track contains all the energy of a dancefloor track.
Vocal and guitar by Frank Arbaretaz who were singing on their hit “Make it high”.
Comes with the original, two remixes. On the A side, the famous belgian producers and remixers Spirit Catcher for an “Human League's style” version. On the B side, you will find the “Manthraxx remix”. Behind this name, Oliver Spencer,who were doing a lot of productions under the name of Mr Negative, deep and dark, with some reminescence of the Lil' Louis French Kiss track.”Shining in my vein” got his mastering by Moritz von Oswald.Release date : December 4th, 2006.

After signing a license deal with Nocturne for France, Chateaurouge's TIME will be distributed by Kompakt distribution for the rest of the world. it will be release february, 5th, 2007.

Update Mag: John Acquaviva received this fat slab of minimalism as a promo without any info on what it was called or who the artist was, but every time he played it people would always ask what it was. So eventually he took it to Craft Music, and they tracked it down to Swen Webber, who promptly agreed to do a deal. So now the addictive synthetic bass led “First Stroke” is getting a fully fledged release, with the added bonus of remixes from Scratch Massive and Oliver Moldan.

Sex Schon appears on several projects before this, some remixes for Sao Paris, Bermuda Triangle, The Replicants, some mixes for Think Twice,Play Paul and John Lord Fonda. After their Ep for F.U!, they are preparing a new one with their singer Sam Amant.

This video music was shot in 2003 for the first album of the Scratch Massive "Enemy and Lovers". It was directed by the french director Thierry Poiraud. The main thing of this video was to use the 80's three dimensions glasses. This is a and advertising video for Wolksvagen, in the Dresden's mother factory. Karl Lagarfeld was shooting the new Volkswagen T1000. Pif Letué was charged to shoot the making of this shooting session. he decided to us the security camera and to split the screen in four parts. Scratch Massive did the sound design and the atmosfear of it.This video was shot in 2004.
